...is actually the Holy of Holies. At least, that was my intent. I would love to hear your interpretation though. Perhaps shattered faith in the proletarian revolution?

Unfortunately whenever the words "Red Curtain" are used our generation brought up durin the Cold War (which was particularly warm here in India ) would in Dullesian conditioned sensibilities associate the term with Marx , Lenin , Stalin , Beria , Krushchev , Breznev & the erstwhile Soviet Union ! Sorry for my misinterpretation , boss .

...but an interpretation. The Red Curtain is a good metaphor it would seem, because it has a different meaning in different contexts. What I love about poetry is the myriad interpretations that are possible because of so few words used. I appreciate the comments very much!
