An Awesome Tale

Very believable, and exceptionally well told. The sex is part of the plot, not the whole plot and reason for the story. This is a story where characters are well developed and fleshed out as it progresses. It touches on morals and psychological pain, and healing. It also points us to the many unseen, unknown civilian victims of that nightmare in our national history. I've often wondered, as I did again while reading this story, how many millions of lives were ruined because some people were exceedingly greedy.

I had read a couple of your stories previously. Tonight, in a single sitting, I read this series of the Boys to Men. I must say that not only are you a prolific writer but a writer of believable fiction. You wrote with appropriate rhythms throughout the 19 chapters. You must have lived in the Boston area as your descriptions of the locations and residents were as I grew up nearby. Those were incredible days. I was at Northeastern Univ. in Boston and was commissioned in the Army post graduation from having been in the ROTC. You brought back a lot of memories for me. The sex was as you wrote it. A few--like most--at college were burning their bras and sharing themselves so readily. Thanks for being so descriptive. Thank you for the memory.
