you write so well, expertly. that makes the story fun to read, but the most wonderful part of this is how you manage to convey the devoted, layered connection between jeremy and eric. i can't put my finger on how you do it ... it's not like you used many chapters or even pages to capture them and their shared history. just a short series of vivid images and tender memories. but somehow, i can just feel how rooted they are in each other. throughout the whole of eric's narration - in all his acute observations and candid revelations and easygoing humor - there's an undercurrent of happy wonder at the love he shares with jer. you threw in a freakin sun god and that love still seems like the greater miracle.

oh yeah, and the sex was hot. really hot. in case you were wondering.
