Loved it I find in most stories that rely on sex and detailed description of that act does get repetitive and boring but throw in a chance encounter as at the cafe, or eavesdropping on young ladies during their sexual musings very entertaining. Thinking back to the beach, my previous point still stands, how far does his influence stretch.
