Great story, but here in the United States it's not called a holiday, it's called a vacation. I was convinced they were from the UK until Chicago was mentioned, then it fell apart a little bit for me.

Love your story and let be tell it was a tear jerker, My heart went out to Tanya. Can't believe it was inspired by the song from Loving Annabelle which is one of my favs. Wish they would have come out with a part 2. Keep more stories like that coming or maybe a follow up to after Aimee gets settle in at Uni and the mom moves to closer.
