simple but not easy?

Thank you, LeBroz & duddle.

Perhaps this simpple poem is not easy to grasp for many readers. The poem is about the attempt to understand yourself, to face yourself, face to face. One tries to look back, to retrace his/her own steps, and succeeds only in stepping on his/her own tail. One can't even tell for sure which of the past events were real and which were imagined or illusions (flashbacks versus deja vu-s).
