My "loving wife" had an affair with her boss. At the time we had 4 young children and I think she was only sorry I stopped her. I was going to tell his wife...her friend if they didn't stop. He couldn't afford his 2nd divorce for doing the same thing. If it hadn't been for the kids I would have divorced her then. The story's the thing and it is your job to create a character who can stand on his/her own. If you can do that you have done your job. Reading this tale within a couple of paragraphs it is quite apparent that the narrating female character is a self centered self absorbed cheating slut and without counselling will very likely continue through life the dysfuncitional was she is. Why she is so proud of her adulterous affairs an easily be explained by her complete lack of consideration for anyone other than herself. I saw a lot of myself in this story. I've had five affairs and do not regret a bit. Had several close calls.
First Affair

The story may be true but why does it not feel like it
Reading this tale within a couple of paragraphs it is quite apparent that the narrating female character is a self centered self absorbed cheating slut and without counselling will very likely continue through life the dysfuncitional was she is. Why she is so proud of her adulterous affairs an easily be explained by her complete lack of consideration for anyone other than herself. To the rest of the population her bavior outside of marriage is extremely distructive with only a small amout of payoff for her. Because of her distorted personality she only can see the puny sexual gratification received in countless loveless relationships.
AN "A" FOR HONEST EFFORT
The "A" for honesty is exactly how I think about your story. While I enjoyed your first person narrative that delivery and recounting do not inspire a stimulating response.
