The kids of Carla & Bob need to be protected in case of medical issues where heritage is important! Duna identifies that concern. The Information needs to be available, even if Carla were to die suddenly. But Josh needs to be kept out of the loop to the extent possible. This is why this is a terrible idea, no matter how good a revenge it makes in fiction! Once they are grown, or Carla and Josh divorce, it becomes great revenge (except for the impact on the kids!)
