First, please either use unambiguous male/female names, or ID Lorie as Hubby early on (exception...if it is deliberately intended to mislead or be ambiguous.)

Lorie is an unambiguously feminine form. Did you perhaps nean Lauren. You build tension well starting with sally's surprise at having underwear laid out for her. The couple they visit are not remarkable but then neither are Sally and Lorie. Overall not terrible as a sort of mild stroke story.
