Someone would have noticed....
if these robots can raise children, intelligently listen to problems, and "think", that implies such a strong evidence of sentient that someone else would've noticed before now – if not the companies that build the sex robots. The world building and knowledge of police procedures needs work, but the premise is extremely exciting and so I must fave the story anyway despite its weaknesses..
One part
in me saying - that would be fun, but the other screaming NOOOOOOO. Great story.
