Good attempt

I decided to take a risk and read this. I wasn't disappointed-This a good initial story. The poems (?) bring some insights into the tale. Would be interested to know what the request is about and how the tale unfolds.

Liked it a lot!

Great start to what hopefully's a longer story! Just a little critique; I don't think you need to explain in brackets what all the names mean (say, First Walkers towards the end of the page). You could even have characters talk about it or just show us in the story! Looking forward to seeing more!
