AS a former Marine weapons instructor, I applaud your choice of weapon, for self defense. I have often told my friends and others that a .45 auto is the best weapon for stopping bad guys. Great story and keep yourself safe.

I can't believe it...a writer loading a firearm with a magazine and not a clip...actually worrying about the noise made by a firearm in a closed room...using a suppressor and not a silencer...actually knowing that these thing require a federal permit to have...and using a .45 that's not a Colt 45 Automatic Pistol...knowledge of post shooting procedures...just too good to be true. About the only thing I would have added to this was to have called his attorney after responding to the police initial questions. Florida is a gun friendly state, others are not so. Good story, enjoyed it. Definitely 5*****
