Ooo...I'm intrigued now...and loving this story more than ever. Great development of Garret and I loved Bridget (giving herself freely to Garret!) right up until the last paragraph; not because your writing was any less amazing but because now she'll do something stupid, I can just feel it!

Worth the wait

Think, girl, think! She's been rational this whole time. Don't let her emotions take over now. Garrett knows how to protect her; when to look at her and when not to; when to be rough and when not to; when to show emotions and when not to. Either she trusts him or she doesn't.

I really like her and Garrett together though, so I'm hoping it all works out. I'm also looking forward to finding out exactly who Garrett is.

Agreed with cantfightfate and rolloveredrover...she had to think and not do anything stupid just because "the plot said so." Many stories rely on a "if I hadn't done this, none of this would have happened!" thing, but there is already plenty of shit going on and you have developed two very smart protagonists. It's totally not necessary--please, don't demean our little maid's smarts under pressure!

Second time reading

I read this as it was coming out one story at a time and have now returned to read them all through, and as expected I'm loving it! The last few lines in this story are also one of my favorite moments.

Impressed with Bridget's stealthy.. bits. She seems to be able to take a lot. :) And go Bridget! That's the spirit, don't make it too easy for him, go and escape on your own! I really hope she does, I'd like to see Garrett's reaction. :) Can't wait to read more. x
