ever know peace?

I really truly believe that if we ALL wanted peace, that it is obtainable. The problem is, there is always someone that wants to cause drama.

The day the world fell

I was at work when the news of the tower having been hit by a plane came. I called home and talked to my wife. The gypsy was in tears. She had been watching the news when the second plane hit. She was terrified.

The foreman in charge of where I was working wouldn't let anybody go home to be with their families. He said it wasn't that big of a deal and that it was too far away for us here in Alabama to be worrying about.

I wan't there for her that day when I should have been. I have carried that in my heart as one of my darkest regrets. On one of the darkest days of our lives I wasn't there when she needed me to be.

That's one of many days I would like to do over.

Steve.
