I read your story on my phone and as I scolled to the last part my finger accidentally voted only one star. I tried to fix it by adding stars but wasn't able to. I'm sorry. I was touched by your story.

Great story

That could have been exactly the story of my grandmas brother in 1944. His wife and son were with his sisters family, not expecting him home from WW2 anytime soon. On christmas eve he just stood in the doorway. What a holy night.

A Reminder

The story is just a reminder that sometimes real life can be stranger than fiction

THANK YOU!

For everyone out there, having spent 21 years in the military, this is what coming home to the family anyday is all about. Only wish I could describe the feelings so every one could understand. This story is as close as I have ever come accross.
