Another beautiful story by you. For me, cheating is a deal/relationship-breaker. But, somehow you brought me around to Charlie b/c he seemed to have really changed and really wanted to put Ryan's well-being and happiness ahead of his. I enjoyed it alot.

Definitely a case of Opposites attract and two lovers needing to be more mature in order to be happy together. You made it seem plausible, but I had a hard time picturing Ryan as a big bear of a guy.

That was the perfect Christmas story. I guess in theory Charlie did cheat but it's more like he stabbed their first relationship to death so they couldn't go back. Then he wants Ryan back and it's one of those oh shit moments.

I don't see Ryan as a bear either but the story worked for me. I'm glad to see forgiveness because most deserve it if they're truly sorry. I also liked how Charlie was willing to give him up if it made him happy which shows maturity.

I like the story and I'm glad it worked out for them but I'm not the forgiving type so I wouldn't know.

It's weird coz something like this happened to me years ago and I just couldn't forgive the guy in spite of the many apologies...I just couldn't/can't do it. Once a person cheats, that's it for me...there are no second chances or do-overs. It's probably why I can't really relate to this one but good story all the same. Cheers!

I love happy endings and I enjoyed reading the progress and how Ryan realised he was being a stubborn prat not that I condone cheating at all!! Well done and well written

Enjoyable read.

Just a tip: watch out for "passage of time" in stories, and check this makes sense. The old boyfriend says he's "45 minutes away", but within just a minute or two's worth of conversation, he arrives at the door - the intervening text may have taken 45 minutes to write, but the activity described took just minutes. "Passage of time" errors are easily overlooked, so this needs to go onto a checklist of things to check during your first edit of any story.

Okay I don't remember reading this story before but apparently I have and all I can say is it was brilliant. Absolutely loved it all the way through and glad that Ryan and Charlie worked their way through

Of the story is dumb as fuck...he can't go on his vacation because someone with seniority submitted time AFTER he already had his approved!! Come on that's dumb shit and wouldn't happen, "yeah let me not go on this approved vacation , stupid.",

I guess you've never had that happen for you and work in a place where you've been denied time after it was approved simply cause someone with seniority put in for the same time. is it supposed to happen? no. is it right that it happens? no. does it happen? you bet your ass but again I'm happy for you that you can't conceive of an unjust employer. stay there forever.

This is Wonderful! I was rooting for them all the way through this very well written, and believable love story. Love doesn't guarantee never making mistakes, or not ever getting hurt, even hurting the ones we love! But if it remains strong enough, no matter what happens, it makes forgiveness possible.

This was a beautiful story. I loved that you show the hard work that goes into a relationship and that if you both love each other and are willing to put in the work a relationship can make it through anything and come back stronger. When you love someone you love them completely faults and all.

I would never be able to give people second chances and this was a refreshing story to read, it may change my opinion about this case. loved it

I think Charlie deserved this 2nd chance. If I read that correctly he cheated one day before he separated with Ryan and that really isn't that bad. He knew what that would do to their relationship and ended it himself the next day, instead of keeping it going behind his back until he got caught like so many other cheaters.

I know this Author because I keep checking back on ‘Zombie’. Read it. I’ve read this story before but I didn’t comment. Al is a pivotal character and I didn’t notice on first reading. The way this novel is presented I might comment multiple times in a row
