Disappointing.

I've really enjoyed some of your other stories, but this one was a disappointment. I don't think there was a single character that was actually likable. Duncan was weak and stupid, his mother was self-righteous and totally disregarded her own son's feelings, and Miranda was nothing but a thug with a half-assed last-minute attempt at appearing sympathetic. Your other stories have characters that are worth caring about and endings that feel satisfying, but the only ending I wanted for this one was for Duncan to move out on his own and escape his rapist's clutches for good.
