Very implausible
Aside from the implausability of the whole situation, Australians use the metric system. No real Aussie would use miles or pounds. Maybe a quick google search first next time.

We still use the imperial measurements when explaining things. We still use mileage, feet and inches as well as metric measurements. That's the best thing, we can understand all those measurements!
