Hmmm

This was all right but I felt removed from the whole thing. The characters aren't very developed, so I didn't have much to relate to with them. It was sweet that they got together after a long time, but it felt very dry and distant. And why didn't you give the woman a name?

One other thing -- I believe you've misunderstood the term "sloppy seconds." A few years ago a hockey player got into some trouble when he made a comment about his ex-gf and her new bf, and how the guy was getting "sloppy seconds." It was an insult to the woman. What you're talking about here, as you stated earlier in the story is that the woman is concerned she'd only be a rebound relationship. That's different.

It's a good effort, though.

you really need to edit your work you had some grammar mistakes that made the story not flow as well but other than that it was good though i do agree that you should develop the characters more
