I Like That - " Gone Baby Gone "

This was no masterpiece, but it was a pretty righteous read. The guy pulled the plug on a faulty marriage, took some time off to heal from being burned and moved on to a good woman. Just because it's so simple that it's stupid, doesn't mean its not right.

Me being me, I would have liked to know more, but this author gave what was needed. A straight up story, neat, no ice, no chaser.

Guess I was hoping Jeff would get some type of payback from Vickey. But in the end she got her Cake and ate it to. I guess every story has a looser and Jeff just seemed like he wouldn't be one at the start of the story. Funny how the worm turns :)

Forgot to mention - 6 rounds in a revolver not 8.

You Ruined It For Me

It wasn't a bad little story at all when everything is said and done. It was short and to the point without a lot of useless tripe.

Some details DO matter though. I would have given this four stars gladly, but I simply had to dock you a star on the unforgivable revolver thing. The largest capacity revolver chambered in .357 Magnum that Smith & Wesson makes only holds seven rounds, not eight. Hey, I'm a gun nut, these things get on my nerves.

I was, of course, aware that the standard revolver generally holds six rounds. The Smith & Wesson 686 Plus does pack a 7 round chamber in .357. I was unaware of an eight shot revolver.

This has a great deal to do with the fact that I am currently having an "affair" with my Kimber .45ACP 1911 semi-auto.

Did Jerry and Vicky go together and stay a couple? The story was simple maybe simple minded but I've seen couples split up just like that. Some people are zero tolerance and this makes sense. I would've recommended talking it over beforehand but most people might not see it,probably I'm one of them. Vicky was a skank to discuss children bearing actively with her husband and screwing his best friend. Jerry was equally as bad as Vicky and deserved retribution. The story lacked emotion. It had great description and little emotion. It lacked the passion of a snare to catch the two skanks, it also lacked a cold plate of revenge as well.

Great plan! Devious thinking! Sweetie has to re-organize her whole life, including moving away with only what she can pack before she expects Hubby to come back from offing her Bull. Smart of Hubby to not ID her Bull in his dream!

Only down-side might be that she might NOT notify Bull about Hubby's pending visit! Unlikely, but possible!

The S&W revolver is Model M&P R8. MSRP usually around 12-13 hundred.

8 round S&W .357

That would be either the Model number 327 Smith & Wesson Night Guard or the S&W Model number 627 in .357 Magnum caliber. Choose eight shots of lower recoil .38 Special, some hotter rounds of .38 Special +P or some really potent .357 Magnum rounds.

I walked into my bedroom and pulled the hammer back. Now if you know anything about the Smith & Wesson 357 Magnum you know the hammer makes an awesome sound when pulled back through safety mode and into fully cocked mode and believe me they noticed it.

if you google S&W 327 and 627 , you will see that they are indeed 8 shot .357 revolvers. Taurus makes some 8 shooters as well.
