Vivid images

I have found myself on the shores of Lake Michigan and at the edge of an ocean. I have felt the water washing over my feet, though not this time of year. Both have water that meets the horizon. You paint a lovely word picture for your readers to enjoy, and thoughts to ponder. Very well done.
