I don't think so. Perhaps some small elements of truth but I rate it a clever approach to another 5 star piece of pornographic fiction from this talented writer.

I can only believe that while this might be a cleansing of her mind by making us faithful readers fully aware of the gloom, agony and personal humiliation suffered at the hands of Susan's oddball family. The story tears at by heartstrings as I compare many of the episodes that mirror my life, not necessarily the severe exposure to incest and constant living a life in fear of being sexually assaulted, but the broken family structure, the unwanted feeling-living behind a locked door and the uncertain fear of what was going to happen next. As we all age, it becomes necessary to think about what's going to happen to Susan or her 'family', it would be my opinion the bridges are pretty well burnt. While Susan will be a survivor, prosper and have friends at her side, the others will just become another statistic. Ms. Parker should be writing text books or involved with psychology in another life, and this chapter makes me respect her all the more. If I could give 50 stars I would :) Better end this, now-I need to refill the Ink Fund yet this weekend :) The Bird
you are not your mother. I have no idea what drove your mother to her depravity but with so little you did so much more and should be proud of your accomplishments and not be ashamed of your beginnings, those you had no control over.
Susan, thank you for sharing some of your story with us. I has been as while since I last commented on any of your stories, and I can Say is I am sorry. Although we all are a "Product" of out upbringing, we choose to live our lives the way we want to. Take care in all things and keep writing.
