Dispense with the " teasers" like " that's a story for another time".

In this, you did it twice. Totally unacceptable to treat your readers like pet dogs whom you feed only if they sit up and beg.

And one instance, no matter how graphic, does not make for an exceptional tale. How much better would it be if you included some relationship issues and their development and resolution, along with the mind control. Like having her aware that you have this power, and how its use affects the both of you. .

But please, please do not follow the formulaic " I can't be hypnotised and was doing it all the time because i want it / love you/ need more sex.

Agree with the other posters that teasers for the sake of teasing are frusting and lame. Also, the story lacks a logical background. If he's had the ability for 40 years, why only try it out on his wife now? He seriously waited 40 years?
