I don't care for where this seems to be going.

It's also distracting to read names and pronouns which "symbolically" begin with lower case letters. And there's a difference between a "short story" and a "long note". A dozen short paragraphs and a few one-line sentences falls into the "long note" category. Just my own two cents. Maybe this all appeals to other readers.

This Story Lacks Context

The first story essentially gave some background while somewhat short. However, this story seems to go off on another tangent with only a small thread to the original theme. And then finishes. Disappointing.
