The play's the thing

Another fine opening. I like how you set the tone, describe the scene and arrange the scene. It reminds me more of Tennessee Williams than Thomas Wolfe but that's just my opinion. I love how you use character development as foreshadowing rather than events. Can't wait for the next chapter.
