I was aiming for something true to the setting, language and spirit of the times this is based in, when ignorance was rife. Sometimes, you know, a writer actually does know what they are doing, as they're trying to create a character.

Speaking of ignorance

To think that there are no Arabs in Persia, or what is today called Iran, is about as ignorant as thinking there are no Arabs in the U.S., only Americans.
