A very entertaining story, but far too short. Your characters were well defined and the dialog was witty and fun to read. This should have been expanded into a story that was perhaps three or four chapters and (hint, hint) you still can undertake that task for the enjoyment of your readers.
I particularly liked your male characters understanding of the political set. My favorite political science professor once told us that "the first order of any government is the perpetuation of itself". It is so cynical to see our political process described that way, but of course "the collective WE" are entirely at fault for the situation.
Verrrrry Interesting.................
Gave you a 4..... The ending really left me shaking my head as to what it actually was.......

Rubbish
Half written with no end
Nicely crafted
A nicely crafted story, well written, good dialogue, and I thought that the ending, while subtle, was also quite clever. Good work.
