Ok if the title of this story is the start of a series wherein the title and leading info brings about small pieces of a story that we put together over a few chapters.... then this could be really good.

If this is a stand-alone one off type thing though, this really bites the monkeys ass. I withhold scoring on this to see which way it goes.

I hope this is the start of a longer story...
Part of that hope comes from the artful way that you wove together the Fragments so that they hinted at a more complete picture. Nicely done.
