I read the whole story in the last hour and am eagerly awaiting the rest of the chapters. With the promise of a confrontation with rustlers and the reports of a "guest" coming with Kathleen and father the story sounds like you will be tossing in a few new elements to the mix.. 5 stars, thank you
Nice bit of cliffhanging
Will the rustlers surrender? Not likely! Will the guest be some English Lord and suitor for Kathleen. I am wondering if the bond is as strong as it appears and perhaps Pia will be added into the equation....

really enjoy your writiings, my grandparents etc back to the civil war lived the kind of life you write about. example great grampa built the stone house in holly colo and gaandmother watched them build the austin capitol on the land that was part of a land grant to her grandfather. grew up reading zane gray all the time. good job on keeping facts right. thank you.
