bit of a rush

Good plot but it feels a bit rushed. Would be more exciting (not to mention realistic) if she didn't come that first time either.

Ok so I finished reading the series & loved it. Then I was thinking, hang on didn't Cassie get "shot"? This part wasnt explained, was she actually shot with a "bullet" or a "tranquilizer" (sp?). Just a minor oversight.
