If he hadn't given her a reason this time, there would have been one eventually. Her joy in causing pain went way beyond revenge for cheating. Nice narrative about one sick puppy.

Not really a fan of the psycho BTB stories, but congrats on having the balls on doing something that's already been done to death in the cheating wives stories. Generally when it's a cheating husband, the worthless sack of shit not only gets away with it but ends up with threesomes and a host of other bullshit as well, and people will make a thousand excuses for why it was okay for him to cheat on his faithful wife.
Least she's got a reason to be somewhat psycho - his act of impregnating another lover, humiliating her in one of the worst ways you can do to a woman and basically plotting to leave her in a lurch makes a little frosty castration a mild punishment. Well, better than his lover's getting, apparently.

But I honestly can't blame a wronged party for anything they do in the cloud of insanity that follows a betrayal like his was.
What exactly is a biochemist doing in the coldest place on Earth? I can see her being near the fringes of the pack where there is actual life to study. But at the South Pole?
Are there some kind of arctic microbes I don't know about?
