I am loving this and I know you like having darker things at the moment Angel but don't forget that Vivian could be dark - What if she embraces it and becomes the dom to the Earl? Just a thought.
with MM113 that a MAJOR rebellion is still needed. It doesn't need to be quite as drastic as Vivian running away. Would it help if I told you that I am a fan of Being the Maid :-)

Originally I hadn't intended her to have any kind of rebellion at all. That was very much motivated by reader comments and Vivian herself... I can't say for sure how things will go in the future because my characters often change things on me, but there is absolutely no way Vivian will ever dominate anyone.
I find myself thoroughly enjoying this story, not just for the subject matter, arousing though it is, but for your use of descriptive language ....... It's rare to find an erotic story written with such literary flair ....... I might just have to dip into the rest of your oeuvre Goldeniangel ........

To be honest, I don't think I would like it if Vivian turned the tables... It'd seem kind of out of character. I wouldn't be against a small rebellion, but much more would strike me as off. Honestly, she's generally enjoying what she's going through, apart from adjustment.
More than any sort of rebellion, I'm looking forward to seeing her and the earl connect (emotionally) later on. I think those two talking would be far more satisfying than a rebellion. Not that I'm criticising for there not being any conversation between the two thus far!

I have been patient. Twelve chapters, just reminding you. Let the bloody husband take over. How many chapters are one and a half weeks?
I'm a little disappointed that Gabriel isn't into heavier pain, but I guess you have to have variety. Maybe sometime you can do something a little "darker" as you say? The story has been a consistent one, but I'm positive it will spice up soon once Gabriel is introduced. Eagerly awaiting. ---J
Another great chapter, I like the more human approach displayed by the Earl and to a degree Mrs Banks after all Vivian has been her student for years. Please let hubby get involved soon! Thanks.
