Loved it.

Thanks for that - so enjoyable, even though it did cause my eyes to leak a bit!!

More please?

"Wife prepares to accept his posthumus award."

'Posthumus' would mean 'after he has decomposed and been turned into compost'!

I think you really meant 'posthumous'?

Now for the rest of the story.....

Enjoyed the hell out of that story. Now let them see what a dominator he really was.

The past / present flip as it went along made it flow easily and smoothly. You could feel the love and the fondness and so much more as their lives played out. VERY well done. Look for more like this from you. Oh, I hope they filmed that induction so the world got to enjoy his life too. Need more like them. Thank you. GP

Outstanding!

A well crafted story. The way it was presented was perfect, and the story line well planned. I hope we see more from this author, soon.

How about "Posthumorously?"

J_T, this is a truly heart-rendering, heart-warming story of the enduring love and family. A person of strong character chooses to share Love, whether agapē or affectare. This well-written poignant story of the mutual growth of a man and a woman and the strength of their relationship, has left me lachrymose.

Anyone who wants to feel good

should read this story.

And they might even cry a little along the way.

A great feel good story

And one with which the Lit algorithm struggles. It is in a category by itself. None of the Similar Stories are a match for this wonderful story. Yes, they are good stories but there the commonality ends.

Wow!!!

Outstanding story and a full box of Kleenex needed. The presentation of the story was seamless and so well done, it just went by too fast. Thanks for such a great love and family story.

A lump in the throat

Serendipity---a story found by chance. And what a wonderful story. Bitter-sweet but utterly charming. You've left this old bloke with quite a lump in the throat. Great piece of work.

I'm revisiting older stories while thinking about upcoming events. I wish he was still writing!
