Interesting tale. A "How To" tale about how to get revenge on a cheating wife. Despite the advice. he did nothing. At least divorce the whore.

Few Options Missing

It is not that simple. There are more options available to deal with a cheater. Violence is a poor choice because it will make the husband an instant suspect. The goal at this point is to get a divorce that meets your criteria. Who gets the kids, if there are any? Who gets what money? Certainly there are things that can influence a courts decision on these two issues. Much later, when the separation issues been resolved, punishment can be meted out with less chance of blow back. In truth, violence while immediately satisfying, pales in comparison to a long a subtle campaign of covert destruction. There is nothing worse than living a life where everything seems to be going horribly wrong. All while you ex appears to be very sympathetic, even helpful as your life continues to crumble. At the same time, his life seems to blossom, without you. That is revenge, especially on a woman.

If you are not defending yourself or someone you love then resorting to violence is always stupid. If you have been treating her right and she cheated then kick her out of your life and let her see how other men will treat her, and if you have been a bad partner and she cheated then suck it up and admit it to yourself so you wouldn't repeat the same mistakes with the next one, you may get raped by the legal system but living with a cheating partner is always a bad choice. But, using violence against her because she cheated, well, that says that you are stupid, and you know what happens to stupid men?... their wives cheat on them while other men steal their money.

This BTB fans on here. Anderson wanted to believe he could hurt his wife but when faced with the reality of what it would do to her and to him he couldn't do it. Unless you are a psychopath, revenge always hurts more than one person.

Odd thing to me was that it sorta redeemed the guy - it seemed he really cared, perhaps, for the woman if "bad things" were not acceptable. But then again, it may have been just being squeamish. A lesson learned in either case.

OFFICE, COURT or PRISON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Naturally a good writer could find a way for this.
I think one of my favorite Cruel Revenge (and believable) Reconcilation story Flavian's Excellent Story: "Best and Biggest" from storiesonline.net (SOL) showed well this.

I think a cheating wife killing is not REVENGE STORY (BTB), but concequence story and generally sad CONSEQUENCE story. I read more so sad consequence stories. Unfortunatelly I forgot a story's Author and the title of his story. The husband second wife cheats on his husband with more lovers and the neighbour swinger pair too. The husband discovers this. The cheater second wife is German origine and works in a hospital. She likes a special type German tart, what her husband does not like. The husband mix a special herbicid/fungicid (he uses in the garden) to her tart for 1-1.5 years and she gets cancer with polymetastasis. She dies in cancer........... This is a
SAD CONSEQUENCE STORY and not a REVENGE (BTB) STORY.
In the Revenge (BTB) story the cheating exwife lives and .................

Taking yourselves and these stories seriously is part of the closet cuckold psyche. The humor of this story is lost on beaten cuckolds because they live here; this is their schizo life.

Being socially awkward makes them seek identity and relationships here (hence their preoccupation with "anons") and their disorder further blurs the line between story and reality.

This causes the vehement outbursts found in the comments from taking made-up stories as seriously as if they were the nightly news. As the author admonishes in the intro "Lighten up. Francis."

Actually there are 3 --not 2- different types of LW stories

The first one has to do with the simple cuckold fantasy which of course nobody likes to admit to but offers continue to write for some reason and people continue to read.

The second type is a total revenge and BTB -- BURN THE BITCH -- story . Given the fact that the majority of the readership of LW are male this sub genre strikes a powerful cord with a lot of people ... even with the BTB stories that are done badly. Like this one. Some of the revenge methods are so extreme and so over the top with actual violence that if the story is taken seriously... one has to wonder about readers who think this kind of solution to marital problems is justifiable and one has to wonder about some of the authors as well

But there IS a third type or sub genre of the LW story which is a LW that show CONSEQUENCES. The stories often have the author trying to show emotional devastation and uncertainty as to what the correct course are action might be... and what happens if the husband decides to stay with the marriage and what might happen if he decides to leave/ divorce. This 3 rd type of LW story tends to deal with reality in some capacity or another. There may be a little bit of violence here and there in the story but for the most part the stories are serious attends to show a realistic breakdown of a marriage.

Strong reader reaction will often come about when it appears that the author has set up one particular type of LW when it suddenly veers off into a complete cuckold fantasy or when we see an excessive amount of violence develop which comes across as being unjustified

this particular FD45 is a classic case of this instance occurring . The reader thinks something is going to happen then it doesn't and the Author doesn't explain why .

1. To do violance against women is not my taste. (Except for violance (for example martial expert women) women!!!!!!!!) FrancisMacomber's new story shows understanable violance against woman with weapon............
2. In high % the police D.A office, court will investigate and prove it and the end will be prison.
However your story is a half ready. What will your character do? Will he go home and he will eat creampie with bread? He have children. Will he wait for the less child is 18 years old with the divorce plan? Will he divorce soon?
All right you wrote a story, where you showed a criminal with psychology degree.
However I am curiouse what is your idea about your husband character's future.

Half-assed

NOT the story...HUBBY! Maybe a quarter, rather than half! I thought Mr. Rent-a-Baddie was very kind to consider the moolah a long-term retainer! Just in case Hubby's brain slows down (or stops) and Hubby decides he wants some 'action' after all!

Ending is JUST FINE...the story is about Hubby learning several very expensive lesson! It is NOT about 'Sweetie gets herself some!' That had to happen in order for Hubby to get riled enough for all his brain cells to 'go walk-about!'

Ahhh enertained and educated all at once

I love it when someone with wisdom writes a story about infidelity and cheating. A nice twist that the reader gets to contemplate the consequences to the wronged spouse when they take steps for revenge. There are consequences for all including kids and other family. Anyone with empathy will consider that. Only those whose ego is based on the ephemeral will want to hurt the other to the point of actually doing some of the nasty things written on this site and others. In the constitution there is a section that addresses the concept that the punishment must fit the crime or it is cruel and unusual, therefore, not legal. As I read these stories in the loving wives categories and the comments I find out a great amount about the writers. I remember a conversation I had with a guy in prison as I sat on the bench waiting to play ball against a team in Jackson State Prison. This guy was someone I played football with in high school and had homeroom with. As we talked he mentioned he was in here because he got caught up in a love triangle and blew them both away. Who he had been was not that kind of person but pain can cause outburst of actions that leave anguish behind. After that initial pain most people recover enough to do what serves them the most. That is not revenge. That is not to hurt the ex loved one. It is an action that improves ones own life. If someone thinks another person's pain helps bring happiness into their life they are just wrong. It is not easy to do some of these acts. I would state that most have not killed as I have. I would state that most have not maimed another as I have. It stains the mind and emotions even with just cause. I thank this author greatly for pointing out that the acts wanted by BTB crew have lots of consequences that are not addressed by that crew. If you need to consider them what the hell are you lacking in your personality that makes it so.

The crook probably saved him more than he knew,and also pointed out that seat of the pants anger leads good people to do bad things.What I loved more is it manages to be sardonic and serious at the same time...I could see Peter Weller playing the crook,and at the end saying "just remember,wherever you go,there you are"

@ Anon You are stupid, because a lot of BTB fans are not betrayed husbands. When I was 16 years old I read (with my High School mates together) Boccaccio "Decameron" and we enjoys those stories, where SMART cheating wives and loverboys cheated on DUMB mediavel husbands from the XIV Century.
I did not know that time in the Catolic Europe (200 years before Reformation (Luther in Wittemberg)) the husbands did not get rid of his cheating wives with divorce. The only solution was the murder........

The simple truth of the matter is that 99.9% of people like the good guys to have a happy ending and the bad guys to lose. It doesn't matter if it's movies, television or a story posted on the internet, no one really cheers for the bad guys or wants them to get away with their crimes.

Iv never been in a situation where Iv had to fight my way through an office building defeating terrorists along the way but I sure as hell was happy watching John McClaine do it in Die Hard. Going by your foolish logic I should of been rooting for the bad guys.

After dragging Curtis to death behind his pickup truck, Mr. Anderson saws the nipples off his wife and feeds them to her, scarring her face forever and leaving her tied to a pillar in the town square to be laughed at and mocked by beggars and small children with sharp rocks. He also puts up a mirror so she can see the horror she's become.

Meanwhile, the man is never troubled by the law, wins the lottery, is hailed as a hero, and every single woman whom he glances at with any interest is willing to drop her panties if he indicates ANY interest. The kids, of course, love and respect him for his bravery.

FD45, I gotta say the first half of this clever work made me very nervous! Then as I read through the back half It dawned on me you were setting us up for a seriously comedic denouement. The ending had me laughing outloud. En-relief as much as in en-joyment.

In real life of course, Many if not a majority of those convicted for felonies, were guilty of violence against the women and children they would claim to have loved.
In answer to Britease's question, quite a number of the BTB lynch mob are violent against those physically weaker and/or emotionally submissive.
