In medias res is not good everytime method for more charcters story. A little longer story plot could help understand better who is who. It was a little disturbing writting.........BTW I know a married pair, who live happy life and they were step siblings...........

The reader either has to dislike everyone (maybe just half-dislike Troy/Tony, so far), or like 'em all! I think I'll dislike the (post-pubertal) lot of them!
