No need to worry about waiting for the next chapter. I have 51 chs. written so far and still writing. It gets more into the intrigue and deception, as it unfolds. The battles continue and new clans are brought in to join both sides.
The start needed to be as brutal as it was, so the hatred for the MacRae's was established and set the tone for our present day lovers to understand the animosity between their clans. A touch of Romeo and Juliette in there.
I guarantee you won't be bored, or disappointed in a lack of action. I pulled all the stops and tossed in the kitchen sink for good measure, lol.
