Remorse meets remorselessness

Amazing
I'm reading in alphabetical order this author's work. I stumbled on the first one I read by accident and was fascinated by it's power and emotional impact. This one is just more of the same, it has a few errors in spelling and perhaps one or two grammatical faults, but they are nothing when compared to the story in it's entirety.
Sparse, tight prose giving the reader a glimpse of a slice of the characters lives that is complete in and of itself. The author manages to leave the reader feeling satisfied, not cheated by lack of background, and that is something that is almost impossible to do for any author. My very highest recommendation goes out to this story, and the author as well.
