First reading was good

Then I started to think about it. And it felt like she was taking revenge on him for spanking her (with his hand? We don't know). And if she was whipping him with a willow branch then after very few strokes the thin branch would have been tearing his butt to pieces. It wouldn't have been pink or red. The narrow branch would have cut through his skin instantly. He would have been a bloody mess and passed out from the pain. And at that point I hated this story.
