Hello everyone, it's me, the author of this story. This is the first story I've written, so sorry if it's a little bit shabby. This story is based on true events, but all names have changed. If you want to hear more stories with Jessie, go ahead and keep rating high. If you have any future ideas for fictional stories, go ahead and comment them, because now that I've written some nonfiction I'm in the mood to write some fiction.

Thank you for drawing this to my attention Anon. I commented above that this is based off of real events. Of course, this is the internet, and nobody's word is valid on the internet, so I greatly apologize that I am unable to prove that this is indeed the truth. I guess since you are accusing me of copying, you don't believe that this story is true, which is fine. Go ahead and believe what you'd like for all I care. I just don't want other people to think I am copying from another story. I had never heard of this other story before, so I decided to read it, and after reading, I am astonished at the similarities between what I have written here and the other story. Both the other character (Jake from what I recall) and myself are athletes (take into account that a good percentage of high schoolers/college age people are athletes or participate in athletics) I guess you can argue that the ages are similar, but in this story I am a senior in high school, and in "Nothing Between Us" Jake is 20. I guess you can accuse me of copying the girl, but again, *Jessie* (I star this name since it isn't her real name) here is white (at least last time I talked to her she was white) and Thuy/Jennifer from "Nothing Between Us" is Vietnamese. I guess you can go ahead an accuse me of being racist because the girl is white, but is it my fault that I took my white friend's virginity? I'm sorry, next time I'll try to diversify. Anyway, I guess you can accuse me of copying this concept of friends-turned-lovers. But wait, aren't many First Time stories about friends becoming more than friends? I can name about ten stories off the top of my head that share this concept. So no, I did not copy a story, or a multitude of stories, for this one. This is from real life events. I'm sorry if you don't believe this, and I'm only as good as my word. This story is real, and I did not copy. I'm sorry if I went on a bit of a tangent here, but I don't want people to think I made this story up or copied it

Nice short story
Many friends are in the same situation. Neither wants to make the first move. It is better to take a chance than regret it. It is wonderful when both realize the true love.
