When it Starts on "H.M.S. Titanic"...
You know the ending won't be "... they sailed off into the sunset and lived Happily ever after!", but you managed to keep the focus on the moment. A very well written, romantic and erotic story of clinging to love when you find it, no matter what difficulties life throws in your course. Since so few men got off I wondered how you'd end it - an unbelievable "…they both made it off & were reunited in America"; a really sad "...she gets on a lifeboat, to America with nothing but a baby on the way & her memories"; etc. What you chose was sad but romantic, tender, and believable. Bravo on a well written story!
