I had just commented on "Fire and Ice" about the lack of character development.

This was SO much better! I really cared about Jen and even Kara to a degree. I was glad that you didn't have a rom-com restoration of the relationship, though from the title I can see that might be coming in the future. Please don't keep us waiting too long for future chapters.
