I enjoyed your story and I was impressed with your writing and story telling particularly in the first half. There was some light humor in there that made me smile.
I also enjoyed all of the moral comments from people that were outraged by the actions of your hero. I smiled all the way through them. Get a life! This is only fiction. No words, or puppies were hurt in this saga.

Forsaking all others is implied and expected. If he thinks otherwise then he should just be upfront and open.
Perhaps Other Hubby was a "Plutonic" relationship because he "comes around" once every several centuries.
I would urge serious consideration of the several thoughtful comments previously offered! I liked it, overall, but short of 'favorite' status! I am ambivalent about 'fair warning' prefaces...nice to offer, but they seem to be guaranteed 'troll-magnets'...either that, or trolls cannot read? (We know most cannot write!) ((I predict 20 Anon emails I will delete without reading!))

A good Read
I found it rather funny. Dealing with the in-laws was great.
I just loved the way he initially handled his MIL. That they later become lovers is priceless! I'd give you a 85-88%(a few orthograph mistakes) so 4/5 *. Well done.
but I did notice a mistake and it is one of my pet peeves. Liam was talking to Angela when he stated he'd only be fucking "you and Angela" and it should have been "you and Kathy". I know I make mistakes in my stories and I cringe when I catch them after posting, but I can't think of one time I mixed up character names. I may have done it and not caught it, but I usually catch that mistake.
Other than that, it was a good story. I'm glad to see another writer using my age group for a good story. Thanks!

Cheating?
If he didn't think he was cheating then why didn't he tell Kathy about his meetings with the "Good Girl"? Liam kept silent because he knows he has disrespected and hurt Kathy and all the self serving rationalization won't change that. It is only a matter of time before his wife finds out.
Sometimes it's the quiet ones that you need to be careful around. Turns out carelessness worked for him! I would like to have known if the Grandparents set up trusts for the Grandkids and continued to mellow out. Even though I thought the wife turned out to be a clueless twit the overall story was well played.
He can rationalize any behavior he feels he wants to participate in. The honor and cherish parts do not cover betrayal and cheating - but if course his life is splitting hairs.
He does seem to have the best of life - until his wife figures it out - and if ti were a RL story that would happen so he should be happy he lives in fantasy land lol.
The man stayed true to his wife for nearly 30 years despite boring,lousy,infrequent sex despite all of the temptations presented to him all the time at the office. It took a sexy ,slutty sexpot knocking him out and tying him down to get him to stray. And well,he's only human. Maybe if the wife made more of an attempt to give him what she knew he desired,he wouldn't have continued on with the crazy sex-starved bitch.
Yes,cheating is always wrong at least on several serious levels BUT in this case it took the sexual pressure off of his wife while allowing him and Angela to get off often in wild ways. ~ Good to see a CUCK-Reversal story! ~ I gave it 5 dildos,er,I mean stars!
