I didn't understand your use of ya'll, which refers to more than one person. It made it confusing.

Y'all
As a southern girl myself, I understood the use of the word y'all perfectly. Although I don't talk like that, I do know quite a few people who do. Anyway, nice story. I hope there is more to come.

True southerners know that "y'all" is a singular pronoun. Its plural is "all y'all."
