Extortion
What are you teaching the kids? It is not okay to cheat, but it is okay to extort? Teach the children that truth is the most valuable asset. Keeping to the truth keeps honor and dignity. It allows you to sleep at night and look others in the eye. Cheating is all based on deception, the truth is the antidote. Keep telling the truth about it until the deception is gone. Then move on.

I was a teacher
In one aspect I disapprove, teaching kids that extortion is acceptable is wrong. However the dad gave an important lesson to his children too, make it clear and obvious that you are uncomfortable and don't be afraid to stand up for yourself. That is an incredibly valuable lesson.
This one gave us a good laugh
For once my wife liked a story on lit. This one was great, I loved the daughter though, and what happens if they dropped a sheet and his wife finds it? Nah don't bother with a sequel it was just fine on its own!
Lessons learned
You have a nice humorous knack with children- this was a fun little story. Why is it that only the brave anons throw out useless unsupported garbage like "this is written terrible" without anything to back it up? I accept typos, formatting errors, dialogue ambiguities, etc., if the story holds up well on its own. And FD45s generally do. Sad, I am almost caught up on all your stories...
