Not sure why, but I found this rather charming. Full marks for managing to write an interesting short story based around totally unbelievable characters.

There is something sublime about Lesse's stories and this one is no exception.

I think that the characters are actually quite believable - possibly 'anon' was never a teenager. More importantly, they are both delineated such that they engage - one cares about what happens to them. So gentle and yet as sharp as a razor. Wicked.

While I regretted it was not longer, it is fully rounded and needs neither lengthening nor a sequel - nice though that would be.
