Well Written and Seemingly From A Personal Perspective
Excellent writer's skimming with hitting the highpoints regarding the ship, impact to her as a main player as the Navigator with the Skipper sticking her with short notice priority tasking (I'm a retired Navy Chief / operations), she responded accordingly while putting everything personal on the backburner and everything went flawlessly. She even had some personal time to think of hubby the "Grunt" and a military marriage is crazy thing (I retired after 22 years) but a double covering 2 branches will make heads spin and divorce lawyers drool.
I'd enjoy seeing this taken a few more chapters at least, your perspective with the "actual" environment with a couple mentally and physically deeply in love would be awesome to read.
