A good story so far
I've enjoyed reading the 1st chapter and look forward to the rest of the story.
It's the Hermit so it can't be bad.
Good start I wish it was longer but I will be waiting for the next chapter.

About the point of realism, considering an "realistic" alternative timeline starting at 1586 one cannot say who is King in another country in 1606, too many diversions from the original timeline have taken place at this time. The whole point of the discussion is moot. The same goes for many other "facts". The story in itself is realistic enough and beautifully written and therefore needs no further nitpicking

A delightful little story after the time warp bomb went off.
If you are looking for an in depth alternate history story, this is not it. What is is a light, fun read with many 'wouldn't it have been better if's' that skims lightly over heavy details, with that 'the good guys always win' prospective from our Saturday matinee Roy Rogers and Gene Autry shows. What a welcome relief from the nitty gritty it is. Thanks Sw Mo.
