OMG, Gwen does like punishing herself as she slowly moves toward liberalisation and the freedom of loving someone completely. But the story is believable and great. I have friends like her!
I'm really enjoying this series. My wife is not as shy or conservative/restrained as Gwen, but she still is loosening up. It's a fun adventure, even after 37 years of marriage.
