Longer

Cool story but could you make the chapters a little longer? I am guessing the boy in the hospital is Jack's brother surely Brian would ask oppose to assuming.

I have loved him right from the beginning but now I'm annoyed! Good grief, way to jump to conclusions. But, um, I wait for Ch. 05 no less eagerly...

Obvious

I'd be surprised if the person in there wasn't Jack's brother or relative in some form, considering Brian asked the nurse if there was someone named Coultier in here and she directed him to that room, meaning that's the patient's surname, just like Jack's
