Strawberries and Cream

I like the concept of this, and I like the way you use language. I also can relate to the subject matter - since it seems that half of my childhood was spent hearing about "gorillas" (as I heard it). Some specific points/suggestions: small town gossip like napalm and rice paddies. I don't think rice paddies works. The idea is good in that most villages have them - but I don't get the connection with gossip. The title is interesting because of the contrast, which is what I assume you intended to convey. I would have opted for something more typically 70s. Razzles? 5, for the record.
